A little more than 20 years ago, a hot guitarist with a buzz-saw voice bolted out of Delaware to national attention playing a blisteringly raw blend of roots-rock, R&B; and blues. George Thorogood may have since been upstaged by other blues-based guitar-slingers, but he and his band, the Destroyers, continue to tour (they’re at the Coach House tonight) and pound out their hearty bar-band rock.
