The City Council recently approved a new ordinance requiring special event applicants who want to serve alcohol to have special training. For the last two years, those serving alcohol at the Chamber Fiesta and Cinco de Mayo festivals have undergone voluntary Responsible Beverage Service training. The ordinance is one of the recommendations of the city’s Positive Action Toward Health Committee. Information: (949) 361-8200.
