Over the next month, City Manager Terry Matz will begin familiarizing Stanton neighborhoods with the city’s redevelopment plan.
The plan calls for the revitalization of Stanton’s aging neighborhoods by using grant money and the funds from increased property taxes resulting from increased property values. Matz said the increased property taxes also will help generate more revenue for the city.
