The Library District and Police Department will hold a free child safety and personal identification event, at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the library auditorium.
Space is limited, and reservations are required for the program that is part of a national effort to provide parents with personal safety I.D.’s of their children.
Buena Park Police Explorers will also be on hand to place each child’s fingerprints into their registration booklet. Parents are asked to bring a small recent photograph of the child, a close head and shoulder pose, to put in the booklet.
