Leisure World residents interested in learning more about prescriptions can attend a “Medication Education Day” on Thursday.

The event, sponsored by Saddleback Hospital and the Leisure World social services department, allows residents an opportunity to bring in a prescription and discuss concerns with a pharmacist or nurse. They will discuss side effects and proper dosages among other things.

The event begins at 1 p.m. in Clubhouse One. Appointments for a pharmacist or nurse can be scheduled by calling (949) 597-4267.
