Phnom Penh Streets

The article by Andrew Bender on Phnom Penh, Cambodia (“One City, Two Worlds,” March 26), was interesting and accurate. My wife and I were there in November, and I recommend not going out at night.
The king’s birthday occurred during our visit, and he would not go out on the dangerous streets to celebrate but stayed in the palace for formal ceremonies. We did enjoy the visit, and Angkor Wat should not be missed.
