AAA Issues New Map-Guide Series

AAA is issuing map-guides for those tired of juggling both a guidebook and a map.

The AAA Tour Guides, which fold to 4 1/4 by 9 inches, have detailed maps plus lists of restaurants, lodgings, shopping areas and attractions. The first in the series, for Orlando, Fla., also suggests tour itineraries and day trips. Handy charts compare prices and features of 30 hotels and 58 restaurants. The guide is available at most AAA offices and some bookstores, spokeswoman Janie Graziani said. The price is $5.49, with discounts for AAA members. Guides to Las Vegas and Phoenix are expected to be available by the end of the month, she added.
