The city’s Finance Department was recognized recently for its budget presentation.
The Government Finance Officers Assn. of the United States and Canada granted the department a prize for developing a compelling presentation of the city’s 2000-01 operating budget.
A panel reviewed the city’s documents to ensure the Finance Department disclosed all of the necessary information to the public.
