Like Pamela Briggs, I struggle not to let my fears rule my life (“A Stranger’s Indiscretion Inspires Her to Face Fear of Freeways,” July 3). But isn’t it interesting that by avoiding the freeway, she ended up taking a more interesting journey that led to some profound insights? I enjoyed the article very much.
