DoubleClick President Becomes CEO

DoubleClick Inc., the leading online advertising firm, said President and Chief Operating Officer Kevin Ryan has been named chief executive, replacing Kevin O’Connor. The company said O’Connor will remain chairman, focusing on new-market development and long-term strategic planning. Ryan has assumed many of the duties of CEO in the last year. Shares of New York-based DoubleClick rose $1.50 to close at $36.63 on Nasdaq.
