The City Council unanimously voted in favor last week of applying for federal funds administered by the Orange County Transportation Authority. The money will help fund the Collins Avenue and Wanda Road improvement project, which will include resurfacing Wanda Road from Collins Avenue to Villa Park Road, and resurfacing the first block of Collins Avenue east of Wanda Road.
