I just read Patti Davis’ “The Proustian Moment of a Father’s Wink” (Opinion, March 12). It brought tears to my eyes. Not only was it well written but it gave voice to what needs to be said. My husband had Alzheimer’s; a walking death. Unless one has a loved one with that dread disease, it’s impossible to convey the tragedy. Thanks for that wink, Patti. Your father is much loved.
