The city’s annual Fire Service Day will be held at two locations from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. The main event will take place at Fire Station No. 1, 11301 Acacia Parkway, and will feature firefighting and rescue demonstrations, fire and police equipment displays, a medical-evacuation helicopter, an arson dog demonstration, free fire safety information, games for children and refreshments.
