On the Marriage of Thornton and Jolie

This letter is in reference to the story in the May 18 issue about the marriage between Billy Bob Thornton and Angelina Jolie (“We’ve Only Just Begun”). It was neither news nor was it funny. It made fun of these two people by ridiculing their multiple marriages and Angelina’s close relationship with her brother. This article did not enlighten or entertain me and I am disappointed that the L.A. Times chose to put such an unworthy article in its newspaper.
