Cooper Cos. Report Decline in Profits

Cooper Cos. Inc., a Lake Forest manufacturer of specialty health care products, reported net income of $6.7 million, or 47 cents a share, for the second fiscal quarter, down 4% from $7.1 million, or 51 cents a share, a year earlier. The net income a year ago included $1.8 million from discontinued operations, Revenue for the quarter ended April 30 rose 22% to $50.8 million.
