Children’s Hospital of Orange County is offering a Diabetes Educational Fun Fair 2000 event. Registration starts at 8:30 a.m. Saturday; the event runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Harold Wade Education Center, 455 S. Main St. Children with diabetes and their parents can learn more about the disease and see the latest in technology through workshops, games, information booths and live entertainment. A picnic lunch will be available. Cost of the event is $6 for individuals, $12 for families. Information: (714) 532-8330.
