STANTON

The Planning Commission last week approved the rezoning of a lot on Bell Street.

The zoning change clears the way for construction of nine single-family homes on the .85-acre site. The lot was originally zoned a medium residential development area that authorized construction of apartments or condominiums. The rezoning turns the lot into a planned development area, allowing developers to build the single-family homes.
