Preserve Land on Cliffs

* Re “Too Beautiful, Too Unstable,” editorial, Oct. 31: Thanks a lot for your support for the preservation of 800 acres in Rancho Palos Verdes that hopefully will be designated as a preserve. What isn’t generally known is there are multiple slip planes under this land, which decreases the possibility of stabilization, another solid reason why this land should remain undeveloped.
