Image Entertainment Posts Gain for 2nd Quarter

Image Entertainment Inc. in Chatsworth reported net income of $1.75 million for the second quarter that ended Sept. 30, compared with a net loss of $842,000 for the same period last year. Revenue rose 42.4% to $25.4 million compared with $17.8 million.
Image Entertainment acquires licenses to distribute entertainment properties on digital video disks.
