The Purchasing Department at the Orange County Water District, based in Fountain Valley, was recently notified that it is a recipient of the 2000 Excellence in Procurement Award. The national award is presented to public and nonprofit groups that get a high score on standardized criteria measuring innovation, professionalism, productivity and leadership in purchasing.
