The Salvation Army is taking applications through Dec. 1 from low-income and disadvantaged South County residents who need assistance during the holidays.
Applicants must show picture identification, a Social Security card, a rent receipt, proof of address and income, and children’s birth certificates. Applications can be picked up from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday at the Salvation Army office in San Clemente, 616 S. El Camino Real No. B2. Information: (949) 366-6652.
