Health-Care Firm Reports Big Boost in Earnings

Continental Home Healthcare Ltd., Glendale, reported net earnings for the second quarter ended June 30 of $661,000 compared to $313,000 for the same period last year. Revenues rose to $5.9 million from $4.9 million.
The company acquires and manages health-care equipment retailers with operations in California, Nevada, and Vancouver, British Columbia.
