* Why can’t the local school districts use good judgment and not schedule athletic events on religious holidays?
I am a Ventura County resident who supports the local high school’s athletic programs as an interested grandparent. I was very disappointed to find out that a tournament has been planned on Sept. 30, Rosh Hashana.
It is time that school districts show respect and consideration when planning their schedules.
