New Horizons Worldwide Inc.:

The Santa Ana company, which owns and franchises New Horizons Computer Learning Centers, posted first-quarter net income of $2.8 million, or 27 cents a share, up 4% from the $2.7 million, or 27 cents a share, for the first quarter of 2000. Revenue grew 21% to $41.1 million.
