In “Clinton Gets Millions for ‘Candid’ Book” (Aug. 8) you report that Bill Clinton wants to write a thorough and candid telling of his life. Thorough? Candid? You further state that he will receive from publisher Alfred A. Knopf probably the highest amount ever paid for a work of nonfiction. Nonfiction? From Clinton? His greatest skill is creating fiction.
