Softball Tournament to Help Firefighter

The Fire Department at Naval Base Ventura County will host a benefit softball tournament to raise funds for a base firefighter with cancer.
The tournament will be held Aug. 25-26 at the Point Mugu softball complex and is open to military and nonmilitary teams. The entry fee is $225 per team. The registration deadline is at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
