3-Year-Old Drowns in Swimming Pool

A 3-year-old boy drowned in a swimming pool at a relative’s home, officials said Sunday.
The unidentified boy was unconscious and did not have a pulse when he was pulled from the pool about 6 p.m. Saturday at a house on the 20500 block of Kittridge Street, said Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Jim Wells.
The boy was transported to West Hills Medical Center, where he died in the emergency room, a nursing supervisor said. An autopsy was scheduled for today.
