Noodles Are Recalled Over Allergy Concerns

American Italian Pasta Co. is recalling 5,000 cases of noodles that could cause an allergic reaction in people who have an egg allergy.

The Kansas City-based company said the noodles contain egg whites, but that fact was inadvertently omitted from nutritional information on stand-up packages of Mueller’s Yolk Free Medium and Wide Noodles.

The recalled packages were distributed in Alabama, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Iowa, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Mississippi, Ohio, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and Virginia.
