Memorial Service for Cranston Scheduled

A memorial service for former Sen. Alan Cranston, who died Sunday at the age of 86, will be held at 3 p.m. Jan. 16 at Grace Cathedral, 1100 California St., San Francisco. Cranston’s family suggests that any donations be made to the Global Security Institute, which works for the abolition of nuclear weapons. The institute’s address is P.O. Box. 475160, San Francisco, CA 94147.
