* AutoZone Inc. said its earnings would miss estimates for the second quarter because of lower-than-expected sales. The company expects second-quarter profit of 28 cents, 4 cents lower than analysts anticipated. It predicted earnings for 2000 in the range of $2.25 to $2.30 a share, compared with the $2 average estimate of analysts polled by First Call/Thomson Financial.
