* Pearson, publisher of the Financial Times, named Andrew Gowers as editor to succeed Richard Lambert beginning at the end of September. Gowers was founding editor of Financial Times Deutschland in January 1999. Wolfgang Munchau and Christoph Keese, currently deputy editors of FT Deutschland, will succeed Gowers as joint editors.
