U.N. Court Seeks 2 in Atrocities Against Serbs

A court in Zagreb, Croatia, issued a warrant for the arrest of an officer sought by the U.N. war crimes tribunal on charges of atrocities against Serbs. Another suspect will surrender directly to the court in The Hague, his lawyer said.
The U.N. court has issued indictments against two Croats for atrocities committed during the 1991 war in the Balkan nation. Though the court did not give their names, the government identified one as Rahim Ademi. Croatian media identified the other as Ante Gotovina.
Ademi “will surrender directly to the Hague court in a week,” lawyer Cedo Prodanovic said, telling the Zagreb court that no arrest warrant was needed.
