Ricon Sells Assets of Specialty Vehicles Division

Ricon Corp. of Panorama City has sold the assets of its Specialty Vehicle Division to Thor Industries Inc. The move will enable Ricon to concentrate on expanding products in the personal, commercial and transit markets.

Ricon Corp., along with its wholly owned subsidiary Concord Elevator Inc., designs and manufactures wheelchair accessibility systems and solutions, including vehicular wheelchair lifts and residential elevators and stair lifts.

Thor Industries builds small and mid-size buses and manufactures recreational vehicles.
