HotJobs.com Cuts Nearly 100 From Staff

HotJobs.com Ltd. said it has trimmed its work force by about 15%, or nearly 100 employees, since the beginning of the year as part of a plan to be profitable by the fourth quarter. The Internet recruiting service said it had employed about 665 people in four countries at the end of last year’s fourth quarter. Shares of New York-based HotJobs, which have fallen 81% in the last year, closed up 25 cents at $5.50 on Nasdaq before the announcement.
