Driver Dies After Swerving Into Pole

A Fullerton man was killed early Tuesday when his car ran off the road and hit a pole, police said.
Jose Lopez, 37, was driving in the area of Valencia Mesa Drive and Bastanchury Road shortly before 5 a.m. when his car swerved off the road and struck a power pole, said Police Lt. Jeff Roop. Lopez died at the scene, reports state.
Investigators are trying to determine what caused Lopez to swerve.
