I am happy to see The Times honor and acknowledge Ysmael Parra, “Sleepy Lagoon” defendant (obituary, May 21). People need to remember these things, and I know Ysmael--my Uncle Smiles--would be gratified to learn that they do. The case shocks people to this day. I suppose it is good that people can still be shocked by injustice.
