Woman Critical After Her Car Is Hit by Bus

A 21-year-old woman was in critical condition Wednesday after her car was broadsided by a Los Angeles Department of Transportation shuttle bus, authorities said.
Joy Perez, 21, of Sunland, was turning left onto Foothill Boulevard from Mountair Avenue about 7:30 a.m. when her 1980 Toyota was hit by the bus, police said.
Perez was taken to Providence Holy Cross Medical Center.
