Staff speaks English and couldn’t be friendlier. Fair-size rooms, modern bath, above-average breakfast. For a 15th century remodeled villa two blocks from Tiber River, a bargain.” Rate: About $130 double.

Setting is beautiful, rooms are immaculate and hosts Drew and Jolene Robins are most gracious.
