Human Bones Found in Remote Area

Investigators on Wednesday were examining human remains found in a remote area of Canyon Country, authorities said.
The bones were discovered Tuesday by a land surveyor near Mystery Mesa Drive, Sheriff’s Deputy Brian Lendman said.
Detectives from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Homicide Bureau, members of the county coroner’s office and a forensic pathologist have yet to identify the remains or determine the cause of death, Lendman said.
