From Times Wire Reports

Heavy rains caused a dam in southwestern China to collapse, unleashing waters from a reservoir and killing at least 12 people, the state-run New China News Agency said.

The agency said 13 people were missing and 12 others were injured in the collapse of the Dalugou dam in Sichuan province’s Huili county, 1,250 miles southwest of Beijing.
