Witness at Murder Trial Tells of Rabbi’s Payment

A confessed killer testified that he helped club to death a rabbi’s wife, then collected payment from the rabbi when he went to the couple’s Cherry Hill home to sit shiva, the Jewish mourning period.
Len Jenoff, 56, a former private investigator, took the stand for a second day in the trial of Rabbi Fred Neulander, who is accused of having his wife murdered so that he could continue an affair with a Philadelphia radio personality.
Jenoff said the rabbi promised him $30,000 for the killing.
Neulander, 60, could get the death penalty if convicted.
