Young Woman Stabbed to Death, Body Found

A woman in her 20s was found stabbed to death Sunday morning near a construction site in La Verne, authorities said.
The woman had multiple stab wounds in the upper body, said Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Deputy Ron Bottomley. She was discovered about 8:10 a.m.
Authorities withheld her name pending notification of her family, Bottomley said.
