Irvine Man Dies When Car Hits Parked Vehicles

A 30-year-old motorist was killed early Saturday when he apparently smashed his car into parked vehicles in an unincorporated area of Tustin, authorities said.
Kristopher Shine crashed about 2:19 a.m. on Yorba Street near Santa Clara Avenue, said Supervising Deputy Coroner Joseph Luckey.
Shine, an Irvine resident, was taken to Western Medical Center-Santa Ana, where he was pronounced dead.
Authorities are still trying to determine what caused the crash.
