Toddler Dies After Overdose of Cocaine

A 3-year-old girl who was hospitalized after overdosing on cocaine she found in her father’s home died Monday.
Police and the district attorney’s office are considering amending charges against Guillermo Elizarraz, 33, who posted bail on seven felony counts of child endangerment. His remaining children were removed from his care.
Victoria Elizarraz was rushed to the hospital by family members on Aug. 10. She was on life support until 7 p.m. Monday, when she died.
