Greed Is What Left McCain Feeling Tainted

Regarding Sen. John McCain’s comment in “Global Pressured Employees to Make Campaign Donations” [April 14] that he feels tainted by the Global Crossing contributions: All he had to do was not take the money.
Why did he take the money? Because he wanted it! Half the senators named in your article have Senate seats as safe as they get. Greed is a common human failing. So is hypocrisy.
