To See Party Differences, Keep an Eye on Budgets

Now that Republican Tom McClintock has conceded defeat in his Nov. 5 contest for state controller, we have an all-Democratic state (Nov. 19). At the same time, we now have an all-Republican federal government. This is a perfect time for all of us to see what the differences are between the two parties.

For the next two years we’ll see how California and its budget do and how the U.S. and its budget do. Then we’ll know for sure. Actions speak louder than words, and there are no more excuses.
