I see that President Bush has returned from his “working vacation” in Texas (Sept. 3). What exactly was he working at? Fund-raising for the Republicans at the taxpayers’ expense? Giving speeches to fifth-graders? Hosting an economic summit for his Republican friends?

Welcome back to the real world, Mr. Bush.
