Lake Forest Woman Killed After Car Rolls

A woman was killed early Tuesday when the vehicle she was driving went off the road, down an embankment and rolled several times ejecting her, Newport Beach police said.
Susan Hinton-Rausch of Lake Forest, who was not wearing a seat belt, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash happened about 5 a.m. as she was driving north on Irvine Boulevard near Private Road, said Police Sgt. Steve Shulman.
The accident is under investigation, Shulman said, but alcohol and the vehicle’s speed do not appear to be factors.
