Autopsy on Diver Fails to Show Cause of Death

A scuba diver was discovered dead behind a hotel in Laguna Beach, officials said Monday.
County coroner’s officials performed on autopsy on Daryll Shatz, 55, of Laguna Niguel on Monday but it was inconclusive, pending toxicology tests.
Shatz was found about 11:15 a.m. Sunday in the 30800 block of South Coast Highway. He was pronounced dead at the scene, officials said.
