Brobeck Partners to Move to Morgan Lewis

More than 50 partners from San Francisco’s Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison law firm have accepted partnership offers from Morgan Lewis & Bockius, the Philadelphia-based firm said.

Brobeck announced last week that it would dissolve after merger talks with Morgan Lewis broke down. Pending a management vote Monday, the moves would significantly boost Morgan Lewis’ California practice.

In addition to expanding its 70-lawyer Los Angeles office, Morgan Lewis is expected to take over Brobeck’s headquarters in San Francisco and field offices in Palo Alto and Irvine.
